The demands of digital and social media create the ongoing challenge for brands to create a large quantity of assets, while simultaneously maintaining the quality of their brand positioning within their budget. With runway shows historically being one of the larger seasonal investments we saw an opportunity to maximize the event.
To celebrate Prabal Gurung’s 10th anniversary, we created a digital-first content strategy called “Beautiful Dreamers.” We then shot all content backstage at the SS20 runway show. We were able to capture stills and film of all 50 models when they came off the runway against multiple backdrops. Following the show, we conducted interviews with the cast, created motion graphics and assets that were then used across all channels.
